Olana Energy Oy has made a final investment decision (FID) for an energy storage project in Gunnarsnäs, located in the municipality of Parainen, Finland.

The 10 MW / 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) will be connected to the Caruna DSO grid, with commercial operation (COD) expected in mid-2026. The project further strengthens Olana’s presence in Southwest Finland and supports the company’s growing portfolio of grid-connected storage assets.
